Although he joined us some months ago, we can now proudly announce that Stefan Kovar is our full-time press operator.

Stefan started with us shortly after we acquired our QMDI offset press, and has been with us through all its teething problems. With a background in all things mechanical (including some printing, thank goodness), he has been able to problem-solve every issue – large and small – and get on top of the finer details of four-colour DI waterless printing.

Now that he has committed to full-time work, we are looking forward to keeping him really busy. Not only has he all but mastered the mysteries of the QMDI, but he has also become proficient at operating our digital printing machines, as well as all of our finishing equipment.

On top of all that, he is a nice bloke, too, even if he is a rev-head!
