We have all been working such long hours over the last few weeks that we would have been more than disappointed if the outcome had not been spectacular.
Almost all the staff have been under continual pressure, often working very late nights as well as weekends. It has been a stressful time and it is impressive that we have survived and are still talking to each other! But the results speak for themselves – we have never seen such a broad smile on our accountant’s face.
The Christmas / New Year holiday break cannot come soon enough. Danny is off to England. Stefan is spending a month in Europe. Michael is retreating to the north coast. John is “working” on Lord Howe Island. And everyone is planning to eat a lot, sleep a lot and work not at all.
