After almost three years of avoiding our walls and roller door, the graffiti artists from Mays Lane have finally struck!

We have not been doing anything consciously to discourage their work, but it has taken all this time for our “virgin” walls and roller door to become a target for the graffiti.

The spread of graffiti down May Lane has been rapid in the last few weeks, and a great many buildings that previously withstood the onslaught have been painted – in some instances with not very artistic works.

Neighbours and residents are starting to get a bit fed up with the unasked-for decorations – suggesting that the original concept of having an outlet for serious graffiti art has been lost.
