Our c8000 scores again…

Colours’ investment in the first Konica Minolta c8000 Bizhub Press in Australia has added benefits for all, as this recent article reveals.

Konica Minolta’s bizhub Press series scored “industry leading” results in the latest deinking tests by the International Deinking Industry Association (INGEDE).

INGEDE recently carried out lab tests to assess the deinkability of printouts from multiple vendors, and multiple digital presses from Konica Minolta scored top results. Printed materials from the bizhub Press C8000, C7000/C7000P and C6000 show excellent deinking properties and contribute to further closing of the paper loop.

According to Konica Minolta, the systems passed the rigorous tests with top marks, and the success is based on Simitri HD colour polymerized toner, which was developed specifically for the production print market.

David Procter, national manager production printing at Konica Minolta says, “We are honoured to have achieved these top results from INGEDE.

“This is evidence of Konica Minolta’s continued commitment to the environment which is to reduce the environmental impact of its products and services over their entire life cycle, placing particular emphasis on preventing global warming and supporting a recycling-oriented society.”
