It was obvious we were going to have to expand. So when the next-door suite became available, it was a no-brainer.

Another 200 square metres has meant that we can have a separate space for the pre-press department, the office and reception; and a very nice environment to meet with customers.

But it wasn’t always like that. When we first saw the space, it was revolting: the previous tenant had certainly not kept it clean.

After a substantial clean-up and renovation, including completely new wiring for power, lighting, data, phones, security alarms and cameras, new air-conditioning, carpets and paint throughout – it is now a wonderful space to work in.

We also took the opportunity to install additional file servers, increasing our on-line storage capacity to well in excess of 5 terrabytes.

Of course, the move has created a large amount of extra space in the factory. So after DRUPA, in May, when we have seen what trends there may be in the industry, we have some space available to fill with lots of new equipment!
